Breast Enlargement Surgery in New Orleans
Breast augmentation is one of the most requested cosmetic procedures at our practice. Dr. Cooper performs this procedure to enhance the size, shape and beauty of a woman’s breasts. Women visit her for breast augmentation in the New Orleans area for a variety of reasons. Some have lost breast fullness after childbearing, breastfeeding or dieting. Others want a more voluptuous fit in clothing. And for many women, a more prominent breast curve can bring proportional balance and a new sensuality to the overall shape of their body.
During your initial consultation at our Mandeville clinic, you can talk with Dr. Cooper about the changes you hope to achieve, and she will work with you to determine which approaches can be taken to accomplish your cosmetic goals. Dr. Cooper likes to schedule a whole hour to meet each new patient. This provides a friendly, unhurried atmosphere for her to provide you with all the information you will need to make educated decisions about breast augmentation. Many moms also ask her about combining it with other procedures like a breast lift, liposuction and a tummy tuck.
Vectra 3D Imaging
Dr. Michele Cooper is now offering Vectra® 3D Imaging, an innovative system that lets you visualize your breast after augmentation and/or a mastopexy to truly customize your cosmetic experience.
Some of the topics that you and Dr. Cooper will discuss are the various breast enlargement options including possible incision locations, the placement of implants above or below the muscle, breast implant shape, silicone versus saline implants and the risks and benefits associated with each option. With this information you and Dr. Cooper will be able to determine which procedural strategies will best meet your expectations. Many women who are considering breast augmentation can benefit from a combined breast enlargement and lift to restore a more youthful breast position.
Two weeks prior to your breast augmentation you will meet with Dr. Cooper’s staff to discuss all preoperative and postoperative instructions, and to confirm the procedural plans previously determined.
The procedure itself is performed in an outpatient facility, so you may leave shortly after your procedure. A family member or friend will need to drive you home and provide assistance during the first 24 to 48 hours that follow your augmentation. You and your caregiver will both be provided with Dr. Cooper’s cell phone number for any concerns or questions.
Breasts are the most feminine contour on a woman’s body. An ideal breast contour will bring beauty to the shape of the whole body and provide upper breast fullness lost through age or child rearing.
